Founded on the principles of dedication, community and making a space for strong women to be heard and seen, CSUN Women’s Rugby is more than a team, but a sisterhood. From humble beginnings in 2011, Women’s Rugby has continually grown in numbers, strength and commitment to promoting the sport. In the United States, rugby is a relatively under-heard of and misunderstood sport. The CSUN Women’s Rugby team works towards dismantling its unfamiliarity by channeling an exciting new perspective into the sport through chants, team bonding activities, and of course, having a ruck-full of fun.
